A walk pleasant walk around the grounds of Temple Newsome House in the East of Leeds. Taking in several attractive views of the house and grounds but not too strenuous.

START VENUE: Temple Newsome Carpark
APPROACH BY ROAD: From the M1 motorway take Junction 46 and turn left towards Leeds. Go straight over the next two roundabouts and then at the traffic lights turn left. Go straight over the next roundabout and then beware of the speed bumps. As you go through the old brick gateway bare right and park in the first car park on the right.
CAR PARKING: At the start
PUBLIC TRANSPORT: A Direct bus to Temple Newsam Runs on Sundays and Bank Holidays and is the 63a (Get off at the turning circle and walk down hill to running track and bridal path) During the week it is the 63 which you can get off at the angling shop and walk down the road to the carpark. These busses leave from the opposite side of the road from the station across the pelican crossings.
TERRAIN: Forrest paths, footpaths, bridleways and tarmac roads. Not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchair due to soft earth and after rain may be muddy
REFRESHMENTS: At end of walk in cafe and if there at start of walk from ice cream van
